Pumpkins 4 Peace

Late again, but after buying a new beautiful gun yesterday I realized I hadn't put any pictures up from my last shooting experience. A big thanks to all those who donated pumpkins to a great cause!
yes I did make a shirt at 2am for the special occasion

I love this shot of us all getting ready to shoot.

The computer screen shot-look close and you can see the monitor falling and me almost falling backwards

My first buckshot!

Boyd looking tough and me trying to look tough

After about my third shot, a shell got jammed and it took 3 of us pulling and pushing together to get it out

Look at that pumpkin with the its guts flying out!

Fall Festival

I signed up to help at the boy's school festival. I was suppose to work the basketball toss from 5:30 to 5:50 but ended up working it longer because good ole Juan whoever didn't show up for his duty. The theme was western, so I got Court into some wranglers and Billy had a pearl snap shirt. We even cut one of Casey's belts so Court could wear a belt buckle of mine. You could get pictures for 4 tickets, granted the picture taker was a kid and was nothing like Julia. I waited for a good 20 minutes for our picture to print out only to find that my mom was closing her eyes and both of the boys were looking in different directions not even smiling. Here are some that I took with my camera.

Cowgirls Don't Cry

Reba wasnt nominated last night at the CMAs (thats country talk for country music awards) but she was in the audience and preformed with Brooks and Dunn. My favorite Narvel was there and flip, he doesnt age, he looks the same as he did when I was in 8th grade! Most of the show was pretty good, I absoletly loved when Lady Antebellum won best new artist. You see the girl singer in that band, Hillary Scott is Linda Davis' daughter. For those of you who dont know, Linda Davis sang Does he love you with Reba and actually won the best vocal collaboration at the CMAs. I'm sure no one else is like this, but basically if someone pays respect to Reba in their speech (everyone should) then they are good on my list. So I was hoping Hillary would say something about how Reba helped her mom with her career but I think they were all so shocked that they won that she forgot. Anyway, back to Reba, she sang a song with Brooks and Dunn called Cowgirls Don't Cry, which Ronnie and Kix (country talk for Brooks and Dunn) wrote about Reba. Well the performance was phenomenal and when I say phenomenal I mean it was so amazing that I was flalying my arms about and knocked over a whole bottle of water all over my floor. It was so good that I didn't pick it up because I was so enthralled with the show. I put up this youtube link so yall can watch it too, I've rewatched it about 25 times, especially the end when Reba sings by herself.(2.33) And guess who has screamed every single time with the audience when Reba starts to sing like she is there?-RGF-thats me!

I tried to find a picture of them from last night, but literally he looked just like this last night, even though shelby is almost in college now.

Billy's Behavior

Billy is in kindergarten and has already put the school on lock down and seen the principal. That was in the first week, so I figured this year would be difficult. I guess they have paper teddy bears and earlier this week he got a red teddy bear for hitting. When he got home he was sent to his room for the rest of the night until his bath. The next day was a half day and he went over the neighbors house and hit one of them so again he got sent to his room for the rest of the night. In the morning I always tell the boys to be good or else! Billy has even tried throwing papers away before we can read them. So on Friday he came home very excited and said that he was special today and pulled out a card that said, "congrats billy you've had a green teddy bear for two days. Now most of you with normal children might think, two days, he was good for two days and got rewarded, but for him two days is really good! The best part was when he said, I cant wait for mom to get home, she is going to be so prouded!

Elementary School

Last weekend I was able to meet some of my friends from elementary school for lunch. It is kind of wild that after high school we kind of all went our own way, (emily to fidm, me to utah, aubrey to san diego etc.) and now a majority of us all came back "home" and live within 10 miles of each other. When we first got there at the table someone said, man it feels like 3rd grade at the lunch table, for me it felt more like 7th and 8th grade when we all sat together for lunch. We caught up with what everyone has been up to (marriages, jobs, school) reviewed people we knew and reminisced about all sorts of things that happened when we were younger-sleepovers, birthdays, tv shows etc. It was a great time together and I'm hoping we can make some kind of habit out of it.

Baby Daddy

I know this is late but I just got the pictures. We decided to dress up to go to the demolition derby at the state fair. It was a pretty awesome night filled with sweet corn, deep fried oreos and lemonade. The demolition derby was pretty good, but nothing like Heber City. Big Ash and I both found baby daddies so that was the highlight of the night, especially because mine had a mullet.
>
We loved the free petting zoo

We were going to name our first born, JW after my favorite bull rider, but we are debating about whether we should name him Rhett after this demo driver who rocked the derby.
Our future driver!

Germs and Halloween

I'm pretty sure that Tara will love what we did on Halloween night. Usually you bob for apples in a silver barrel type thing, but not this raccoon...thats right we bobbed for apples out of a toliet. I figure if I'm gonna sit on the toliet, I might as well stick my head right in the bowl! Once I got the apple there seemed to be a few extra chunks in my mouth, not sure what they were but I'll let you imagine.

Trick or Lame

Candy is my favorite so the fact that people give away free candy just for saying trick or treat is awesome. It literally is so fun for me to go to a door and see what kind of candy and how much they give you-big handfuls are always the best! Anyway I take my foster brothers out and they were so lame, we went down one street and they wanted to go home, I couldn't believe it..I mean when I was in elementary school I drew a map of my neighborhood so that I would be the most efficient. They were thirsty, they were tired, what a bunch of babies! I was so mad and told them I was eating all their candy. I did realize one thing, first I pray to have a kid someday that loves Halloween as much as I do and second I'm going to have a ton of kids that way I will get 8 or 10 bags of candy instead of a measly 2 bags.
