Projects

I felt bad for leaving Bill yesterday since I didn't have another coupon and thought Court would enjoy it more, so I told him we would do some projects. I wanted to do something for their school teachers because after being a sub I know for sure they need something to brighten their day and with the way my foster brothers behave they really need something! So I decided to make carmel apples, I even had grand visions of sprinkling candy bar pieces on them like at Rocky Mountain, but lets just say its not as easy as it looks. In fact I will never make these apples again, it is so not worth it. I was at Rocky Mountain and they had these cute ghost apples, covered in white chocolate, 5.75, I thought man that's kind of alot, but freak after supplies and heartache, I would much rather choose the 5.75. But at least now I know never to make them again, lesson learned. I also thought it would be fun to decorate the house by painting a pumpkin on our glass door. In college if it was someone birthday we would paint on the windows for when they woke up. I hope this paint comes off like it did back then, otherwise I'm in trouble. When the kids came home from school I told them that a ghost painted it. I let Bill finish the face, he wanted it to be scary. We also made ghosts out of suckers and since he loves stickers I had him make the thank you cards for his school teacher.
I think he is trying to mimic what the pumpkin will look like when finished

apples I will never make again!

RideMakerz

I hardly ever win anything, but sure enough the other day I was on another blog where all you had to do was comment. I guess there is this new store at westgate called RideMakerz, it is like build a bear but for boys. You walk in, pick out what kind of car you want, what kind of sounds you want it to make, the tires and rims, you get to put it together and then add decals. You can also add engines and other things because the car is magnetic so stuff just sticks on. Its kind of cool, but on the pricey side, thankfully we had the free coupon. I told the boys after we got the receipt for 230 bucks that my first car cost 250 bucks, that's a real truck not a plastic car! Thanks Boymom for the coupon! Court keeps telling everyone how special his car is and how I won it on the internet!

They have like a little pit area where they assemble the car and are timed

The Weigh In

I figured since Evans was out of town that I would weigh in for her at aerobics. Today I lost 1.7 pounds! It was kind of a slow week but I hope to lose 20 pounds next week. My plan is to drink 4 gallons of fish oil, I hear that works, granted its because you constantly have the runs, but its a small price to pay.

A Utah Goodbye

My last day in Utah was cold and sad. It was fun visiting with my college buddies, but the weather was more than I could take. Reba was sad to go as well so she made us do a photo shoot before we left.

Roomies playing Pass-I play Suicide Pass so that's why I just ate lunch

BYU Homecoming Football

Thanks to a great guy, I was able to see the BYU Football game. It was just about 40 degrees outside, but we bundled up and headed out. The game was kind of lame, I thought we would blow out New Mexico but it still was really fun despite the cold weather! After the game we walked to Costa Vida for dinner, it was great and more important warm inside. Later that night we went to my fav, Fireproof.

Concert Heaven

I wish that I had a count for how many general concerts I have been to, but I know for sure I have been to 25 Reba concerts and this was the best one by far. And We didn't even have great seats, we were back in 6th row and it still was amazing. Sorry about these clips from the concert, some of them are shaky because I was laughing or jumping around dancing. oh and Barbra Jean was hilarious as always along with the guy that sat right next to Ashley, KGF. I felt kind of bad that we were thinking he was so crazy, because literally the lady in front of him turned back more than once and gave me the same looks we were giving him. I was easily RGF if not just because I wore one of her name brand shirts as in the one she personally designed and charges 83 dollars for at Dillards!

Friday Fun

Friday was a great day. I got to eat breakfast at taco bell (love the breakfast gordita) and the scoreboard grill. We got a free shirt out in brigham square and then went to two classes, american heritage and humanities. Before the best night of our life, we wanted to stop at the Relief Society Building for a tour but it closes at 4:30. Later that night we played some poker for fun or atleast I was playing for fun, the others were kinda intense.

Orange and Turquiose-we didnt plan to match but we totally did!
marshmellow towers-I totally won!

Sister Parkin, where are you?

In just a few days I'm driving to Utah to see the one and only Reba (and Kelly)! Plus Im going to the BYU football game and hanging out with my best buds from school. If we are lucky, Im going to go to the Relief Society Building at temple square. I have never been, but Im hoping there will be one of those metal statues of all the RS presidents heads so I can get my picture next to Sister Parkin! lol

Enrichment Crashers

Big Ash and I have been planning our visiting teaching conference and thought it would be brilliant if we just went to North Canyon's ward and stole all their ideas. And of course we went to support our friends who were acting in the skit that night. They were fabulous and here are some pics to prove it. sorry they are not the best, but all we had was my phone to take pictures of this joyous occasion.

The Sneakers
Baby Ava at her first VT conference (you have to start early)
Not sure what exactly Evans is doing with a thong under the table, but I dont ask questions, I just laugh and take the pictures
The dessert was pretty awesome as you can tell from Big Ash's face!

One Quarter

It wouldn't be right if I didn't gush all over myself today. Most people are intimated by me, and shoot I cant blame them, when your surrounded by greatness its hard to handle. Sometimes I don't understand it, I mean why wouldn't everyone want to be friends with the coolest person around. Ever since I've been born, people just can't get enough of me, they love me so much. Since I'm a quarter of a century today, I guess your all suppose to give me a quarter so I can call someone who cares!
