Baby Shower Homecoming

My broski was coming home from his mission in Mexico so it meant a trip to Idaho!!!  A few days before Gunnar came home we had a fun little baby shower for Hailey and baby Maggie!

I also got Bryan some gifts that I Knew he would love…Hailey not so much!

5 shirts with animals on it that I got at Walmart for 1 each were perfect for Bry Bry

I of course talked Jessica into doing the whole banner!

At the airport waiting for our little white boy

Eating brunch after church and texting Kara that we wished she was with us.
 Typical picture by the door

Gunnar had told us about different stories that happened during his mission.  He purposefully didn't tell his mother while he was out on his mission about a time when a guy got shot right in front of him and how he yelled at his companion to get the license plate number(clearly son of a police officer).  So one night Bryan and Jake used some puppets to put on a a puppet show.  At the end, Bryan made the puppet, yell/scream--get the license plate number…we all died laughing.

Mini Project-Side Yard

Its a pain in the neck to have to move my trash cans from behind the fence to the drive.  So when I saw someone post that they had bricks for only 5 bucks, I went and picked them up and used them to "pave" a little bit of my side yard to put the trash cans on.

Galentine's Day

Galentine's Day may be completely made up, but it doesn't make it any less fun!  This year's theme was 50 Shades of Red.  Thanks to some bloody pictures, the night was a blast!

Birthday Horseback Riding

My mom loves to go horseback riding and thankfully the only good time to go horseback riding in Arizona is in January.  On this ride we rode up to this mountain covered with boulders.  As we we heading up, Mom's horse went wild and ran up the hill.  The whole time my mom wanted to go fast and apparently she wanted the horse to know her heart.  Well, it scared the guide but my mom loved it.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Sierra Vista Christmas

Recently I've been realizing how incredibly important it is for your best friends to marry men who have family in Arizona.  Im so thankful Calvin Tyler has family here in AZ and it has made seeing one of my besties that much easier.  The first time this blessing came into fruition couldn't have been at a better time…it was right after my first God son was born, so I got to see him when he was just a newborn!  I had never been to Sierra Vista, but Friday after work I drove the few hours into the desert, literally.  The map on the iPhone is not always that accurate.  As I drove into the middle of the desert, there were no lights, no houses, no signs of civilization and when the GPS said to park the car and walk 500 feet to my destination, I knew it wasn't the right address!  Finally I got to Grandpa Skinner's house, Calvin and I went and got pizza for everyone and we talked most of the night.  The next day we opened late Christmas gifts and just hung out.  It was tons of fun getting to see baby Ashton and spending time with Calvin's family.  The funniest part about the trip was when Ashley and I came out in the exact same pair of pajamas!
