New TV-Christmas tree
For the past year I have been saving for black friday, one of my favorite days of the year. I had wanted to get either a washer and dryer and/or big screen tv. When it came down to it, I only had enough money for one big purchase and had to decide. I already had both, washer and dryer that worked well and tv that worked well. Finally I made the decision based on use. I only use my washer and dryer once a week, but I love watching tv! Therefore I searched almost everyday online for a sneak peek at the black friday ads. Walmart was the only store selling a 70 inch tv for a great price. I did some research on the tv, cause I had heard they sell older models etc. While I was doing research I found that Costco was selling the same tv and within the week of black friday had added a 500 dollar manuagtuers rebate. This made the tv a couple hundred dollars more. After a few days I decided that my time in line was worth 200 dollars and that I felt more confident in Costco's return policy and ended up getting the tv a few days before black friday.
Of course the first thing I put on to try out the tv was the new Reba show, Malibu Country. It was crazy cause the tv was so big that it made Reba look lifesize, like she was standing right in my house! The next morning, I was watching Little People Big World and thought, they dont even look little on this big tv! :) So far Ive been loving the tv, I think it fits perfect on the entertainment center I built for it.

Ricko Experience
Last year for Christmas I got my dad a groupon to drive a real nascar. My mom and I went to the training class with him. How hard is it to drive a car? Turns out it is alot different than you might think. The instructor was pretty bold and straightfoward and from what my dad says, just plain mean! I was just thankful he didnt crash!

Buffet Birthday
Casey and I have birthdays pretty close together and my mom wanted to take us out to eat. Deciding on a place is usually the hardest part. Thankfully, my dad had just gone to "the magic buffet". He told us about how amazing it was and all the different foods there. It was quite the experience. Im not sure if I had a favorite thing about the buffet, but the root beer was ok. The buffet was so fancy, that we had to take a family shot in front of the fountain.

My Godson's
I'm actually pretty surprised at how long it took for my roommates to finally have kids---that may have been what made these first boys so epic. Cristy and Ashley both announced their pregnancy to us all on our private blog, with matching pregnancy test pictures! That commenced buying doubles of every outfit I loved and not only in "blue" but also in "pink" since we didnt know what they were having yet. Once it was known that they were both having boys, it made shopping a lot easier!
Originally the due dates for these boys were a few days apart, then at some point it was a week apart and by the end, again within a few days. Cristy went in first, due to the hospital having an empty bed open. Ashley was schedued for a c-section the following day. Cristy was a champ and held out till the next morning to have Kasen. Ashley delivered Ashton a few hours later making them in my eyes TWINS!!! To me, it worked out perfect cause I wouldnt have to rank them as first and second god children instead they both get to be my first!
I literally didnt realize how emotional having them born would be, but on November 28th I cried almost all day at work! All my roommates are amazing and its at times like these when I absoletlely hate that we all dont live close to each other. Nothing made me more sad than not being able to be there at the hospital. I vowed right then to only marry a rich man, so I wouldnt miss any more of these moments!
