The Hunger Games

Thankfully some friends set everything up so that we can see Hunger Games the day before it actually comes out. I hardly ever go to see movies, but these ones have really impressed me.

Halloween

At work my team and I decided to dress up like one of customers.  Of course it was narrowed down to Target since we all had red polos and khakis! 

I don't know where the idea came from, but all of a sudden was watching youtube videos on how to create halloween yard art!  Why I did this days before halloween is beyond me, but I thought they turned out fairly well.

BenBob is Born

I really wanted this baby to be born on my birthday but at least we share the same month.  I had decided to go to the temple after work on Thursday.  I kind of felt like every time I seemed to go to the temple, something bad would happen, and I had never gone all by myself before, so it was hard.  Thankfully Emily gave birth to Bennet at precisely the right time.  By the time I got out of the temple and headed over to the hospital everyone else had left, so I got to be with just Will and Emily. I got to hold Bennett the entire time and of course take a billion pictures.

Demolition Derby State Fair

It always has been tradition to go to the state fair and dress up redneck.  For  Big Ash and I, that means pretending to be pregnant.  This year, Emily was pregnant for real and we realized no matter what,Will seems to show up with a girl thats pregnant.  We certainly cant wait to have a baby to dress up next year!  The demo derby was pretty good this year despite not having a kitchen sink/bathroom falling out the back of an RV.   And we can't go to the fair without trying some deep fried goodies.

Roommate Photoshoot

3 years ago when we had our first roommate renuion we did a photoshoot right by my house.  And of course we couldnt pass up the chance to do it again.  Thankfully I have a photographer on call and who is willing to do a photoshoot of 9 roommates every 3 years.  This time we were alot more prepared and therefore planned and discussed our color scheme, so that we wouldnt be scrambling to get clothes that sorta matched like last time.  Gold /Grey/Creame/Black won and Sunday after church we all layed our clothes out on the couch to decide what we would all wear.  I think it turned out fantastic and totally fit where we went to take pictures.  Somewhat last minute we decided to make signs to hold that described our personalities...which lead to quite fun discussions of what each of our signs should say.  One of my favorite discussions was coming up with Hailey's which we initially said should be, "Picky as Hell" jokingly!  And of course Jessica said mine should say, "Bossy B!t@c*" since I tell everyone what to do!
