Gunnar's Wedding

Technically I bought a ticket to Boise for a different wedding, but thankfully my favorite boise boy planned a wedding for the exact same time.  The only problem was that we had to travel down to Utah, but the drive down was fast and fun especially because I got to catch with Hazey.

This kid kills me.  We make it to Utah to unload wedding stuff and meet up with Gunnar and Sarah.  We are in the parking lot moving boxes when Gunnar says he got me a gift.  He got me a gift? Sure enough he got me the sweetest gift.  Weeks before he was digging through a box of coke and found one with my name on it and got it for me…and it was spelled right!!!

The condo we stayed in, didn't exactly have enough beds for everyone….
If only we slept as good as we pretended to sleep

Waiting outside waiting for Gunnar to come out of the temple

He did it!!!

My favorite Uncle Val!

I stole the groom for a quick pic!

Pictures and more Pictures, thankfully we found some shade.

The reception at solitude was beautiful!

It didn't take long for Bryan to start running in daisy fields with Maggie.  We couldn't help making her fly through the field…she loved it….we loved it and got the cutest Fairy God Mother picture ever! Moments like these are priceless, especially when your friend tells you all about minimalism on the way to Utah!

Cant be at a wedding and not take pictures with these guys
My favorite Aunt Lisa!

The next day was family fun day….we took the lift up the mountain and went on a hike to a lake.
On the chair with Jams and Jack!

Tyler and I couldn't hike all the way to the lake with out getting in…granted, it was freezing, so as much as I wanted to go into the middle, I couldn't make it!

We went to the pool to play with the kids…and by play I mean, I sat in the hot tub watching them.  They all loved the slide!

And then it was time to head back home…love spending time with this second family I have in Idaho!

I Choose to Live-Nashville

I think I've wanted to go to Nashville my whole life.  It took me thirty years but it was everything I dreamed and more.

I was watching Reba interviews one day when she talked about an exhibit at the country music hall of fame all about her.  I looked it up online and it was closing at the beginning of June.  It was then i started looking up flights.  Priceline is a freaking joke and not even close to "name your own price" like they advertise.  Still wanting to go, I decided to use all my credit card points that I had been saving for years.  In my mind I thought, I don't want to continue to keep wanting to go to Nashville and instead of continuing to just want to go, I thought,  I choose to LIVE and I cashed in all my credit card points for a plane ticket a rental car.
We watched the bachelor on the plane ride over, which was delayed several hours! We were stuck in Denver for a while and didn't get into Nashville until 3am!

As soon as we got into the country music hall of fame, we got into the elevator to go up to the exhibit, and as soon as the door shut, Rebas voice came on to welcome us!--it was basically amazing!

The famous Red dress!

After the hall of fame, we headed over to the blue bird cafe! It was in the middle of a parking lot strip mall, def not where I thought it would be.  I spent about an hour deciding on which shirt to buy and even had to try them on in the mens bathroom.  And after contemplating I did what I always do, I bought both.

Literally the best pancakes I have ever had in my life! I would go back to Nashville over and over again, just for the pancakes…which just so happens to be the same place that Reba filmed her video Is There Life Out There?!?!?!
As we walked to the Opryland hotel, I noticed some trees and it wasn't until we were walking out that I realized they were magnolia trees!! I had to document the first magnolia tree I had ever seen in my life.

I got to see Deacon play at the Ryman, couldn't have been any better

I have wanted to work at this place my whole life. It was def a crazy experience…to see a building I had seen so many times in pictures in real life.

The Grand Ole Opry, it is Country. The tour we took was amazing and loved walking through the history and tradition of Nashville.
This lady made us have a true Nashville experience, country hair at its finest.

It was a trip of a lifetime and I was so grateful for an amazing friend to share the trip I had always dreamed of taking to Nashville.
