I'm a Survivor

I love the show Survivor and the Reba song, so getting into the theme of camp seemed real easy to me. Most of the time I felt like I was just trying to survive getting caught by any leaders. I could def tell you what I hated about girls camp this year, but its hard to say what I loved most about girls camp. First and fore most would have to be falling asleep to the hum of Julianne's snoring every night, nothing gets better than that and I'm being dead serious. Everything else was just icing on the cake, like meeting a celebrity, playing with Mufasa, having rocks thrown at me, waking up everyone in our cabin every night, those kind of things just make camp an experience. Here are just a few pictures of me in sunglasses as much as possible because I just got lasik eye surgery....

Waking up early is not my style, but every once in a while waking up is worth it, especially if you get to do something fun like wake skating. I didn't pull a 180 and it took me a few times to get up which was totally lame, but it was kind of fun messin around.

4th Year Hike

I wish doing the fourth year hike got easier each time I did it, but there are always new challenges. This year we tackled an outdoor bathroom, and by we I mean the boys. Besides driving back and forth to camp lo-mia like four times, everyone survived, so I called it a success.

We had been talking about going to Taylor Swift for a long time. In my head I always thought it was on May 25. So I was driving home from work listening to the radio and the dj sounded like he was outside broadcasting at a concert. I immediatly got on my phone and looked on criagslist to see when the Taylor Swift concert was suppose to be in town. Sure enough it was that night. So from 4:30 to 6 o'clock I was on the phone and emailing people about tickets. We got some pretty great seats and the concert was amazing. I really wanted to go and see how bad Taylor Swift was in concert because on any award show I've seen she is horrible. But she was actually really really good, I was looking for her to mess up and didnt really hear anything, granted that was probably because Julia was singing so loud in my ear I couldnt really hear anything. The show reminded me alot of the first Reba concert I ever saw where she changed clothes 15 times and had 10 dancers. It was a great night and I was so thankful to get such a great deal on tickets!

Easter Pictures

It all started in San Diego when I bought a 5 dollar dress. It was super cute, and a size 2! It didnt really look like a size 2, but that didnt stop me from buying. 8 months later I finally got around to trying the dress on and it was more like a size 12! So I decided to try and fix it but Sleeves are alot harder than you think to fix.

New Presidency

Great news...my laptop recovery was only 279 bucks (such a good deal if you have any idea how much data doctors quoted me.. $1500) Hopefully it will be only a matter of time before I can get some pictures from my latest adventures from hard drive. Until then, here are some pics of my new presidency. They were called this last sunday and we all happened to wear green, isent that freaky!??!? Those jon and kate plus 8 fans will hopefully appreciate my dress, from the episode where kate is out on the deck, its basically my favorite.

Update

I know you've all been dieing to have me update my blog, but it just hasn't happened. I have been pretty busy... going to girls camp, San Diego, working, basketball, working etc. Just as soon as I got some time to blog, my laptop crashed! If only I had had a digital party like I wanted to, I wouldn't have lost all my pictures and documents for the last two years! Blogs are boring with out pictures, so here is a recent one from my friends computer(me and baby carter).. excuse the wavy hair in this picture, my hair was wet and this is after a quick try at straightening it.
